The Lunch Hour (Iran)

Please join us for lunch and an informal discussion about life and current events in Iran as well as Persian life in Pittsburgh. 

Special guests include:

  • Reza Azimi was born in Tehran, Iran and is currently a PhD candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering at CMU, working on the autonomous driving project. He has served as the president of the CMU Persian Student Organization for a year and half.
  • Salim Malakouti was born in Iran and went to Amirkabir University of Technology in Tehran where he was involved in different scientific and political groups and movements.  He is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Pittsburgh and one of the officers of the Persian Panthers (the Iranian student organization at University of Pittsburgh) and the Vice-president of the Iranian Nationality Room Committee.
