Conflict Kitchen finalist for 2015 International Award for Public Art

Conflict Kitchen is a finalist with seven other public art projects from across the globe for the International Award for Public Art. The award was based off a global search to find the planet’s most outstanding public art, culminating in an awards ceremony, exhibition and conference that took place July 1- 4, 2015 in Auckland New Zealand.

The 2015 International Award for Public Art (IAPA) was co-hosted in Auckland New Zealand by the Elam School of Fine Arts at the National Institute of Creative Arts & Industries (NICAI), the University of Auckland, New Zealand in a joint-venture hosting arrangement with Shandong University of Art & Design, Shandong Province, People’s Republic of China (SUAD). This was the first time a New Zealand University has worked with partners in China to explore global ideas of art and urbanism.
